Who I Work With

Most of my clients are Asian American men in their 20s to 50s working in demanding fields: finance, pharma, tech, consulting, law, and healthcare. They're navigating imposter syndrome, relationship difficulties, burnout, or the lasting effects of growing up with parents who loved them but couldn't provide the emotional attunement they needed.

My approach goes deeper than symptoms. We explore the patterns, beliefs, and relational dynamics that were formed early in your life and continue to shape how you think, feel, and relate to others. My doctoral research on shame and self-esteem in Chinese American families informs my understanding of the intergenerational dynamics many of my clients carry.

My office is at 37 W. 26th Street in the Flatiron District, a 5-minute walk from the 23rd Street PATH station. If you're based in Jersey City or Hoboken looking for an in-person psychologist who gets the high-achiever experience, you can see me on your way to or from work.

Telehealth

I'm licensed in New Jersey and offer secure telehealth sessions throughout the state. Whether you're in Fort Lee, Bergen County, Edison, Princeton, or Short Hills, you can access therapy from wherever you're most comfortable.

Asian American Psychologist Serving All of New Jersey

Finding an Asian American male psychologist in New Jersey who understands the intersection of cultural identity and professional ambition isn't easy. Many Asian American professionals in Princeton and Edison working in pharma and finance, in Fort Lee and Bergen County commuting to the city, or in Jersey City and Hoboken building careers in tech and consulting, are looking for a therapist who doesn't need the cultural context explained to them. That's the work I do.

I also offer executive coaching for Asian American founders, executives, and professionals who want psychologist-level support navigating the demands of leadership. Sessions may be tax-deductible as a business expense.
